Update: Cannabidiol (CBD oil )For Cancer, Epilepsy? Maybe, Schizophrenia?

I read an article about the use of aspirin as
an anti-inflammatory agent which supposedly improves the
symptoms of Schizophrenia.
Coupled with the information of CBD "Recently, research has shown CBD to have
analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety properties
I wonder how CBD could help Schizophrenia patients?

CBD oils for stopping cancer and other disabilities:  Epilepsy

I assume there is a purpose in life; whether we know
it at the time. My husband and I were in route to
Italy when our flight was cancelled to Amsterdam;
only to be rerouted through Atlanta, Ga.

I ended up sitting in row 46 with 2 young women

instead of my husband who was in row 40.
Their flight originated out of Seattle,WA,
where my connecting flight from Montana was
cancelled. Instead of going to Amsterdam,
as planned, I ended up going through Atlanta, GA
to Barcelona, Spain. What are the odds.

I was sitting down when Adriana sat, one seat

over from me, in our 3 seated cocoon in the middle
of the aircraft. Jen had to lean over Adriana to
get into the middle seat when we said, "Hi."
I could tell Jen was approachable from her easy
going manner. Both women appeared to be in
their 20's, wearing comfortable clothes
and no makeup.

After Jen got comfortable, I asked her where

she was heading.
Without hesitation, she said that her father
has terminal cancer; and this will be her last
flight out to Florida to see him.
She was very disappointed in his treatment
because the doctor would
not let her use alternative methods to save
his life.

Adriana, was obviously listening to our conversation,

while she was setting up her headphones, preparing to sleep.
She suddenly started talking to us, as if, she were already part
of the conversation, and we thought nothing of it.
It seemed so natural since she was right on topic.

Jen talking about her father's illness and her frustration
with the doctor; and Adriana contributing her
experiences with cancer treatment. Although,
I have known people with cancer, I was never
motivated to cure it.

Adriana had been working with a CBD oil lab.

Jen and I had no idea what that entailed.
Adriana had been trying to set up her
own CBD oil lab, but was coming under resistance from
the Food and Drug Administration
(aka US government) and the Pharmaceutical companies
who always want priority over "individual rights" when
it comes to patenting cures; if only to highjack the profits.

I didn't know then; nor now, Adriana's professional

background, but she obviously knew about
medical research laboratories.
She explained how her dog, that had a cancerous tumor, was
healed using CBD oil. She gave him CBD oil on his treats and
the cancer subsided. She said that CBD oil does not cure cancer,
but it can stop its growth.
She knew a doctor whose sister had breast cancer.
She popped CBD oil pills like candy.
Within a year, her cancer was gone.

I did not know what CBD meant. I looked it up

writing this blog and left a website at the bottom
of this blog with the information and a comment
from a viewer on that site.

The short explanation:

"..CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol, (marijuana)
the cannabinoid second only to THC when it comes to average
volume. Recently, research has shown CBD to have
analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety properties
without the psychoactive effects (the "high" or "stoned"
feeling) that THC provides. While high THC strains often
tout levels of over 20%, generally, CBD levels of over 4%
are considered to be high."

Since Jen’s father has cancer, she is also interested in

finding cures; especially, since the traditional doctor
would not let her suggest new alternative or holistic
methods. As she said, when she asked the doctor,
he replied: "If I thought it would help, I would have done it."
Now there is no hope left for her father and she will never
know if she could have helped him.

Adriana was not afraid, nor was Jen, to try alternative
treatments, against traditional treatments; that didn't
always work; specifically, the ones, the FDA and
Pharmaceutical companies promoted;
if only, from a lack of imagination and for profit.

Adriana and Jen exchanged phone numbers. It will be
easy for them to stay in touch since they both
live near Seattle. They are of the same generation with
similar interests: to cultivate and create alternative
ways to prevent, stop or cure illnesses.

I felt fortunate that I had the opportunity

to meet these two young women who will
be the future.

A Promising New Generation of Women

I assume there is a purpose in life; whether we know
it at the time. My husband and I were in route to
Italy when our flight was cancelled to Amsterdam;
only to be rerouted through Atlanta, Ga.

I ended up sitting in row 46 with 2 young women
instead of my husband who was in row 40.
Their flight originated out of Seattle,WA,

She suddenly started talking to us, as if, she were already part
of the conversation, and we thought nothing of it.
It seemed so natural since she was right on topic.

I was definitely out of my league and only an
instigator in this conversation. They both started
talking in a language foreign to me and I almost
stopped talking for fear of making a fool of myself;
realizing how bright and articulate they were in
discussing this topic.
Jen talking about her father's illness and her frustration
with the doctor; and Adriana contributing her
experiences with cancer treatment. Although,
I have known people with cancer, I was never
motivated to cure it.

Adriana had been working with a CBD oil lab.

Since Jen’s father has cancer, she is also interested in
finding cures; especially, since the traditional doctor
would not let her suggest new alternative or holistic

he replied: "If I thought it would help, I would have done it."
Now there is no hope left for her father and she will never
know if she could have helped him.

Besides CBD oils, Adriana also knew about stem cell implants.
Her dog had spine deterioration that prevented him from walking.
Both women were using medical terms relating to illnesses that
I have yet to pronounce or understand. I basically got the gist
of the cause and effect; as I was saying earlier, I was out of my
league; besides having a problem hearing above the noise in
the plane.
Adriana’s dog had a stem cell implanted in his spine.
After some time, he was able to walk again.
I said, "That's one expensive dog."
She said, "I feel so badly having to put my dog through this...."

Obviously, she knew people who were experimenting with
new treatments; whether CBD oil or stem cell implants; and her
dog was the beneficiary.
She was not afraid, nor was Jen, to try alternative
treatments, against traditional treatments; that didn't
always work; specifically, the ones, the FDA and
Pharmaceutical companies promoted;
if only, from a lack of imagination and for profit.

I was impressed that these women were not afraid to
venture into unfamiliar territory to find another
solution to improve mankind.

Adriana and her partner are patenting a dog wheelchair
that will  'not'  turn over; a problem, when it occurs,
could only be remedied by a human.
I assumed, she had learned from her dog's back injury,
a way to improve his life; and now, other dogs
that can’t walk so easily; but want independence, can
benefit.

Jen sat next to me on the plane, so we were able to
continue our talk while Adriana fell asleep.
I would be tired too, if I had accomplished
as much at her age.

Jen had her own interesting life. Her turning point
came at the University of Berkeley while
majoring in English Literature, studying at Oxford.
She took a nature class that changed her
whole life.
In 2012, she and her partner decided
to buy farmland so they could raise
healthy, organically grown foods: Hens, lambs
and garden produce.
Knowing something about Berkeley,
I said, "You must be a Liberal."
She said, "I was a Liberal when I entered Berkeley;
but not so much now."
I assumed that meant that the liberal policies interfered
with her business as an organic farmer.

My viewpoint:
The paradox of being a
Liberal is that their political policies "restrict
individual rights."
Google "Environmental Protection Agency”(EPA)
just to browse the thousands of new regulations
under the Obama Administration that control
individual rights.

The EPA Regulations under Obama is 38 times as long as the Bible.
Meaning: God gives man more freedom than the EPA.

Adriana and Jen exchanged phone numbers. It will be
easy for them to stay in touch since they both
live near Seattle. They are of the same generation with
similar interests: to cultivate and create alternative
ways to prevent, stop or cure illnesses.

I felt fortunate that I had the opportunity
to meet these two young women who will
be the future.
