.."FINALLY! AN EXCUSE Whew! What a relief to learn this...
Ever walk into a room
with some purpose in
mind, only to completely
forget what that purpose was?
Turns out, doors themselves are to blame for
these strange memory lapses.Psychologists
at the University of Notre Dame have
discovered that passing through a doorway triggers
what's known as an event boundary in the mind,
separating one set of thoughts
and memories from
the next. Your brain
files away the thoughts
you had in the previous
room and prepares
a blank slate for the
new locale.
It's not aging, it's the door! "
My take from this new information:
For some Strange Reason, I always
had a habit of back-tracking into rooms;
to try to remember what it was I forgot.
Obviously, my mind remembered where
I left it.
What about those times when we are just
sitting and talking to someone and our mind goes blank in
the middle of a conservation??
More research?
I would say memory is like climbing
a tree. You have to mentally
go back down the tree to remember the
reason you went up it. -Nancy

Twitter.com Sabotaged Me
Twitter Sabotaged me by SUSPENDING my account for NO REASON Before
the Presidential Debates. Maybe I was on two different computers at one
time and it confused them. Nothing Like BIG BROTHER watching
I have heard Others Complain that Twitter.com Blocks accounts for No Apparent Reason.
The Fact that they Did Not Suspend a Tweeter whose Profile was nothing
But Sexual Desires is Questionable. I had to Block them myself. What's
Up with that? Then there are the ones who curse and verbally attack
people and it's O.K with Twitter.com.
Question is: Is Twitter.com too Liberal and only Suspends Law Abiding Citizens.
Up Date: The suspension was lifted just prior to the 3rd and last Romney/Obama Debate. Twitter said no duplications of statements and "unsolicited" comments. That makes me laugh. The only unsolicited comments were probably to the Obama's campaign manager. Big Brother is watching. NO Free Speech, as if, Obama's people don't "repeat" talking points, as if, they are parakeets.
Are General Medical Exams Valid?
This medical exam video basically says the same thing
We say when we have Car problems. If you have a
mechanical problem, you take the car in immediately.
If the problem
does not show up again while the mechanic is
looking at it, he
usually cannot find the problem.
I think human bodies work the same way to some
degree.
If you have a yearly General medical checkup, the
checkup may not show any problems unless
you have a specific test for that disease, and
then again if there are no symptoms present, it
could go unnoticed.
How many people do we
know who go in for health exams and die anyway
because the doctors never saw it coming?

Value of Medical Checkups Doubted
General medical checkups for healthy
adults may not be as beneficial as
people tend to think, according to
new a study, raising questions about
whether spending on preventive
services should be more focused
on tests shown to be effective.
The paper is believed to be the first
large review of existing studies
to conclude that general health
checks—the sort of screening
done in typical annual physicals
—don't affect rates of death and
disease. It was published Tuesday
by the Cochrane Collaboration,
a U.K.-based nonprofit that
conducts reviews to help providers
and patients make health-care decisions.
